3. Look for "Nominated pharmacy" or "Where you get your medicines".
4. Tap "Change" (or "Set" if you've never nominated one).

What if I can't find the "Prescriptions" option?

A few common reasons, and the fixes:

• Your NHS login isn't fully verified. You need proof-of-identity verification (photo ID step) before prescription features unlock. The app will prompt you.
• Your GP practice isn't fully linked. Most are, but if prescriptions don't show, your surgery may need to enable online services for your record — a quick call to reception sorts it.
• You're on an old app version. Update it from the App Store or Google Play.

Does changing my nominated pharmacy cost anything?

No. Nominating or changing a pharmacy is completely free. You only ever pay the standard NHS prescription charge on the medicine itself, if you're not exempt.

Will my GP need to approve the switch?

No. Nomination is entirely your choice and takes effect immediately. Your GP doesn't need to be told and can't override it.

What happens to a prescription that's already at my old pharmacy?

Any prescription issued before you switched stays with the old pharmacy until it's dispensed or expires. The change only affects prescriptions issued from the moment you nominate us onward. If you're mid-cycle, collect the current one as normal — the next one comes to us.

Can I still use other pharmacies if I'm away?

Yes. You can change your nomination temporarily, or your GP can issue a one-off prescription you collect elsewhere. Your standing nomination stays as Brookfield Pharmacy.

How long does the switch take to work?
